In early 2000, we formulated unique herbal extracts fortified with bio-active plant proteins, vitamins and minerals, and made three distinctive hair/ scalp care preparations that: a) helped control hair thinning, b) repaired hair damage, and c) helped improve scalp conditions. Convinced with our initial test results, we opted for a larger field study for unbiased product evaluations. The products didn’t have a name, or any upscale packaging…the only things they had were inherent quality attributes. We filled them in small green bottles bought at a local store, distributed among salon owners and other individuals. After a few weeks, users reported amazing results. First, a woman called from Woodlands Hill, California to place an order. She confirmed using the test sample to rectify problems with her itchy scalp. She tried everything, but nothing had worked till she used ours’...interestingly she still had some left in the bottle, but didn’t want to be out of it. Then, an owner of beauty supply stores in San Diego, California requested a couple of sample bottles for his wife. He used our sample for controlling hair loss, and happy with the results he wanted to buy more for his wife and stores when it came out. Next, we received a report from a woman in Bensalem, Pennsylvania who shared her extraordinary experience with the product. Having received a sample bottle from her stylist because of severe hair loss due to chemotherapy, she confirmed that her hair grew back faster, thicker and fuller. She found it simply unbelievable, and so did her friends; they all were overjoyed with the results. Many others, including salon and spa owners, had similar unbelievable experiences. Appropriately, we named it UfB; UnBelievable!
Combined with our logo, UfB stands for Unbelievable for Both Men and Women. When you see the results you get, you might add your own lingo to the creativity of the name; for example, UfB, Un freakin’ Believable (humor is good for your health too)!
